The Spoiler Shield
Anyone can join the discussion, and what you see depends on how far you have read. Update your progress and the conversation opens up as you go.
How it works
A number on the post, a number on your shelf
1
Every post says how far it goes
When someone writes about a book, they mark how much of it the post gives away. A post that reaches the middle of the story is tagged for the middle. A post with no spoilers at all is marked safe for everyone.
2
Your progress is the only setting
Literally compares the post to how far you are through the book. If you have not reached it yet, the post stays blurred until you catch up.
3
Simple enough to explain
Each post carries a number and so does your shelf, and Literally compares the two. Writers and readers can both see exactly how it works.
Your call, always
Your call, always
If you would rather read on without it, one switch in Settings turns the shield off. You can also reveal a single post when you do not mind being spoiled.
It follows the conversation everywhere
Book discussions
Every post is tagged before a word is written.
Reviews
Mark a review that gives the story away and it waits for readers who have finished.
Club rooms
Private, and always built around the book you are reading together.
